Cross Attic
In 2024, Cross Attic was operated by a collective of interdisciplinary artists who transformed the space into a dynamic hub for experimental artistic research. The space became a site for site-specific and immersive performances, where artists engaged with the past and present of the attic, inviting audiences into shared dream spaces, fragmented narratives, and participatory storytelling experiments. The year was also marked by a strong focus on experimental object and material-based work, with artists repurposing found objects, and creating kinetic installations that blurred the boundaries between performance and environment.
Mara Ingea
Born in 1997 in Beirut, Mara Ingea navigates between installation, object design, and performance, blurring the boundaries between these disciplines. Drawing inspiration from reality to reinterpret it, her work engages with the more-than-human world, questioning our relationship with the beings and spaces we inhabit. Her practice intertwines political and poetic themes, blending environmental concerns with experimental and social engagement. Deeply invested in sustainable art-making, she works primarily with upcycled and repurposed materials, offering new meanings to old objects. She holds a BA in Graphic Arts and Animation from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) and an MA in Directing of Devised and Object Theater from DAMU in Prague. Her installation Puzzles—an interactive mechanical installation reflecting events in Beirut from 2019 to 2023—was awarded Best Student Exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial 2023. Currently based between Lebanon and Prague, she collaborates with international artistic teams as a director, performer, and set/costume designer.

Eszter Koncz
Eszter Koncz is a Hungarian interdisciplinary artist, currently based in Prague. She works across visual arts, performance, and object-making, with a focus on landscapes, cities, and their nonhuman inhabitants. She recently completed her MA thesis Think of It as a House: On Dwelling and Devising at DAMU, where she explored devising as a form of inhabiting space, in which the environment shapes the artist just as much as the artist shapes the environment. Ecology plays a crucial role in both thematic content and material processes in her work, often guiding her toward relational and site-specific approaches. Her recent works include Tornado Watch (co-created with Katharina Joy Book), presented at various festivals including the Prague Quadrennial Studio Stage (2023), Bazaar Festival (2023), and HKW Berlin (2021). Another notable project, River Room, was a performative installation inspired by the flora and fauna of Prague, shown at Mala Inventura Festival (2023), Studio Alta (2022), and MA DOT showcase (2022). She also developed Nanohomes, a fictional real estate agency installation (4+4 Days in Motion, 2022), and Hills, Hills, Etc., Etc., a site-specific performative installation (Proces Festival, 2021). Her text Vltava Road Map was published in Daisyworld Magazine #5
