Whimsical landscapes commanded by alternatively cute and menacing bubbly bits of sound welcome in formal jazz and experimental improvisational stylings in the collaboration of Prague based producer Ursula Sereghy and Brazilian bass player Luan Gonçalves.

Contemplative approaches come together as British-Malaysian Theo Alexander and Czech composer and musician Lucie Vítková meet in a sonic conversation of subtle layers and angles.

Expect nothing in the head of Prague based Estrogun crew's Buggieby and grindcore musician Mike Iannucci's collaboration of fun and ear splitting mash-up moving from crushing chords to pulling an all night outer beats and rhythms.

KONEKTIV NIGHT 2025 ARTIST BIOS:

🪞 Lucie Vítková
Lucie Vítková is a composer and improviser who occupies a hybrid terrain where sound meets physicality, improvisation meets choreography, and instrument meets voice. With formal credentials that include a PhD from JAMU and studies at the Royal Conservatory The Hague, CalArts, UdK Berlin, and Columbia University, she engages multiple instruments—from accordion and hichiriki to harmonica, synthesiser, and drums—as well as movement in equal measure. Her compositional research focuses on the sonification of physical models, while her improvisations explore the spatial interaction between sound and body.

🪞 Theo Alexander
Theo Alexander is a composer who dissolves melody into texture. Rooted in the piano but shaped by distortion and echo, his music unfolds slowly, revealing both tension and release. Each piece balances delicacy and density, inviting listeners into a world of muted intensity. Through repetition and decay, Alexander transforms minimal motifs into immersive emotional terrains.

🪞 Ursula Sereghy
Ursula Sereghy is a producer, saxophonist, and composer working at the intersection of jazz, club music, and experimental electronics. Drawing on her jazz roots and a curiosity for sound design, she crafts vivid, rhythmically elastic compositions that merge analogue warmth with digital abstraction. Her album OK Box established her as one of Central Europe’s most distinctive new artists, leading to performances at festivals such as Unsound, Lunchmeat, or Sanatorium of Sound. Her engagement with the Prague Synth Library reflects her belief in sound as a shared space – one built on collaboration, access, and collective discovery.

🪞 Luan Gonçalves
Luan Gonçalves treats the bass as a site of texture, gesture, and resonance. His music shifts between composed frameworks and improvisational dialogues, embracing both density and stillness. Performing with Prague Quiet Music Collective, Talaqpo, and Jungle Debris, he cultivates collective listening as an artistic practice. Educated in Brazil, the Czech Republic, and Austria, Gonçalves weaves his background into a slow-burning exploration of sound’s physical and emotional dimensions, where structure dissolves into touch and rhythm turns to atmosphere.

🪞 Bugiebby
Bugiebby is a Prague-based producer and performer, and the co-founder of the trans-femme collective Estrogun. Her sound fuses classic pop hits with the heavy bass and sharp kicks of deconstructed club music, drawing influences from electronica, EDM, jersey club, and euphoric 2010s anthems. Although her production also embraces a more melancholic, ambient/experimental side.

🪞 Mike Iannucci
Prague-based, US-born Mike Iannucci delivers a terse, high-velocity take on grindcore. He sings and plays guitar in Barbara, SpecialxDelivery, and Sunshine Friendship Club. Since 2022, his output includes three EPs, two splits, and four albums, alongside shows in Japan and tours across the UK, France, and Mexico. Under Sunshine Friendship Club, he performs live without instruments, focusing on ultra-short pieces that condense an entire set into a rapid, concentrated burst of sound.
