Bohumil Hrabal, a native of Brno, a passionate reader and admirer of Bruno Schulz's dream-surrealist prose, answered diligently in his homework in a conversation with himself to a question about his favorite town: “I would like to live in Drohobych. Ever since I read Cinnamon Shops, I've moved there and I live there to this day, even though I've never been there."
